The Transfigure Collection

Emilia found inspiration through the Visual and Physical movement of the dynamic, adaptability of Light on objects along with Biomorphic forms, sculptural architecture and multiway furniture as well as being directly influenced by the bodies form to highlight the more inconspicuous areas of the body such as the inner ear and the area on the neck just below the ear, she wanted to draw attention to and transform these forms through a flow of visual and physical change within the pieces, using hand graduated wire forms that literally contour the body and contrasting Colour Changing or Bi Colour Gemstones to do this. 

The pieces transform on the body through the direction of light on the gemstones that create a visual change in colour as well as through the graduation of the pieces adapting into physical change pieces through the static change forms or the interlocking mechanism that transforms the piece into multiple ways of wearing the piece.
