About

Emilia Naylor - Brown Studied Jewellery Design at the distinguished Central Saint Martins, Art & Design School based in London where her first collection - Transfigure, came to life.

The Shift Collection explores the Visual and Physical movement of the dynamic, adaptability of Light and Biomorphic forms.

Along with being directly influenced by the body, focusing on its contours and curves in overlooked places and how Emilia could highlight, draw attention to and transform these forms through a flow of visual and physical change within the pieces.

This flow and adaptability from within the pieces also flows throughout Emilia's collection from visual movement in the earpieces, through their biomorphic, contouring forms and contrast with geometric colour changing gemstones that plays with the shifting light to create visual changes, through to pieces that develop into physical movement in the multiform earpieces with their multiple ways of wearing that reveal their visual elements within them.

The Shift pieces then expand on physical change, through their curved, interlocking, continuous forms that allow the pieces to transform into different compositions on and off the body, which allows the wearer to interpret how they want to wear the sculptural pieces.

Emilia has expanded on this collection being inspired by its sculptural forms and injection of colour through gemstones that have that play of light throughout them, creating rounded graduated forms and colourful pieces through the use of geometric, eye catching gemstones to create new pieces.
